*INVITATION TO MAY DAY (WORKERS DAY) RALLY!!!*
The CLO, Lagos State Branch wishes to use this highly esteemed medium, with
respect to the Subject captioned, to call on Lagosians and, indeed other
Nigerians who can make it to join us in our May Day (Workers Day) Rally
scheduled for May 1, 2009.
Take Off Point: Allen Junction, Ikeja, Lagos.
Time: 8.00am
Date: May 1st 2009.
The essence of the Rally is to arouse the conscience of the Nation and, to
raise national and global consciousness on the pitiable plight of the
Nigerian Worker, as well as, press for improved conditions of service and an
acceptable living wage for the Nigerian people in line with Section 14,
Subsection 2b of the 1999 Constitution which states that: “The Security and
Welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government.”
We ask all Lagosians and other Nigerians to rise up from their slumber, cash
in on this marvelous opportunity and, participate with us in decrying the
shameful condition of Nigeria Workers.
