Former Military President ,General Ibrahim Babangida (retd)  has sensationally thrown a challenge at those  who claim he is a thief .The self-styled president is urging his traducers   to prove their claims or stop making noise.He said  this today during a chat with journalists at the Lagos airport .He also amazingly claimed that he has the solution to bring Nigeria out of  the economic woods.

Despite what he perceives as the criticisms against him, Babangida said he has the people and  the political machinery through which he would  make his ambition of becoming president in 2011 a reality.

Babangida who spoke with airport correspondents in Lagos declared that he was not deterred by his alleged negative antecedents and  perceptions by some  Nigerians .According to the former military president, “antecedents and perceptions and the way you look at things, if you call me a thief and you can prove it, you know what to do and not to make noise about it. You go ahead and prove it” 

IBB who did not stop at that also boasted that  he has the requisite experience to save the country from the current economic woes and make Nigeria  a better country.

According to him, all his contacts with his former governors were still being maintained . He said he will explore all the avenues to ensure the success at the polls.

The former president has come under serious criticisms since he declared his intention to run for 2011 presidential election.
