UAD REJECTS DEREGULATION FOR ALL TIME
PRESS STATEMENT  Newsdiaryonline   Tuesday July 28,2009

The United Action for Democracy (UAD) rejects and condemns in all ramifications Rilwan Lukman’s pronouncement that no force can stop the Federal Government from deregulating the downstream sector. Deregulation as fallout of neo liberal policy is a high sense of insensitivity and irresponsibility of the Yar’ adua cabals aimed at further exploiting and dehumanizing the mass of our people.

Even in capitalist economy there are limits beyond which the people must not be pushed. The United States as a leading capitalist society is buying back major companies to be owned and managed by the government giving the negative impact of economic melt down. Social security is provided for the unemployed, palliative care for the elderly and mortgage finance at zero level for the people to own houses.

The UAD is not taken aback that such a statement is coming from Rilwan, he is an old, soiled, recycled hand, an unrepentant sadist who does not have feeling for the common man. The continue use of the word subsidy by Rilwan and his co-jesters is a thieving language; these are some of the ways of imperialism and its auxiliary agents. The parasitic nature of the ruling class makes them dependent on collective wealth; Plato described them as “drones of class of criminals and malcontents.” Their sole aim is primitive accumulation of wealth at the expense of the people.

There are no alternatives to making our refineries functional and even build more to be managed by Nigerians of unsullied character; not engrossed in the ignoble corruption rocking the PDP and the Yar’ adua government. Nigeria has the largest Greenland after the United States ; we must genuinely begin to diversify the economy.

The UAD is also not unwary of Sam Egwu’s resort to assemble some discredited past and present leadership of the Nigerian students, inducing them with money to attempt to derail the current struggle by ASUU, SSANU, NASU, NANS and Nigerians for better funding of the universities. Sam Egwu’s bold face of an ignoble jester shows the level of degenerate of the Yar’ adua impostor.

The UAD and its allies will for all time mobilize Nigerians to resist by all means necessary the ruling cabals’ antics of primitive accumulation of wealth.

Convener, UAD
