Minister of Youth Development Appoints Special
Assistants

The Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Mallam Bolaji
Abdullahi, has appointed Mr. Julius Ogunro and Mr. Emmanuel
Abua-Okocha as his Special Assistants. The
appointments take effect immediately.
Mr. Ogunro who holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication
from the University of Lagos, is expected to bring to the team a
rich experience in journalism, media management and public
service spanning about a decade.
Mr. Abua-Okocha is a lawyer and solicitor of the Supreme Court
of Nigeria. He was called to the Nigerian bar in 2008.
Until his current appointment, he was the head of Chamber, Biola
Adimula & co (Salvation Chambers).
An awarding winning journalist, Mr. Ogunro worked as a media
aide to Prof. Dora Akunyili, the former Minister of Information
and Communications before his current appointment.
