Mammoth crowd at ACN

rally in Jigawa

A surprisingly large crowd turned out at
the presidential rally
of the Action
Congress of Nigeria ,ACN in Dutse, Jigawa state capital.The
occasion which is still going on as at the time of filing this
report is the first major political rally by Nuhu Ribadu ,the
presidential candidate of the party in the north .Equally ,Fola
Adeola who is Ribadu’s running mate in the April polls
addressed the mammoth crowd.Adeola in his brief remarks harped
on the need to change for the better.
Interestingly, the rally
has a high calibre attendance by chieftains of the party
like its governors from the south west including Rauf Aregbesola
of Osun state,Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state and
Babatunde Fashola of
Lagos.Fashola said the
change that Nigeria wants is starting from Dutse.Also present is
Bola Ahmed ,described as the godfather of Lagos state.
Former
Governor Saminu Turaki , a senatorial candidate on the
platform of ACN also addressed the crowd.
