Allah De loses wife

The death has occurred in Lagos of Mrs Else Abimbola Odunewu (nee Fernandez), wife of the legendary newspaper columnist, Allah De (Alade Odunewu).

According to a statement from the family, Mrs Odunewu, aged 74, died on Thursday, 5 January.

Funeral arrangements will be announced soon.
