There were unconfirmed reports from Lagos indicating  that Major Hamza  Al-mustapha,the chief security officer , CSO to late dictator, General Sani Abacha has been   'freed'  from  detention today .But other reports said his freedom has not been really ascertained .

 Another version of the story said it  was   a Lagos  court  that discharged  and acquitted him  today  on one  of the cases he is facing trial.So it is not very clear whether he is on his way home yet or not as he is facing multiple trials bordering on  alleged murder
