The sensibility of average Nigerian is being wrongly touched by the opportunistic highly placed persons in our society. The highly placed believe that they are above the law and what pains me most is that some section of the media continued to be silent on things that concern this situation. But may God continue to bless those media that are always on the side of truth, equity and justice. The only hope the masses have is in them, therefore they should not let them down.

The absurdity we are about to witness may go into the Guinness Book of Record: Where a convict had to be given bail in order to come out in order to pursue his case in the Appeal Court. Judgment has one side  convicted or not convicted. The media should point out to all that prison has only one side  for convicted persons.

The media revealed that Bode George had arranged to celebrate his anticipated victory with 6-cows and 4-Asoebi (celebration uniform) and this is very shameful. May be by the time he gets the bail he can still use the items for celebration. It will be litmus.

At this juncture, I want to register that the Judge who passed the verdict on George and company did not do a fantastic job after all as many people are made to believe. There is no way such a heinous crime committed by George and company merited only two years imprisonment. The judgment is just a tip of the iceberg. Nevertheless, it was a sign that probably from now on; criminals in high places would have some fear in them.  Other judges should take cue from there and always do the right thing, henceforth.
