An
aircraft conveying Fola Adeola, the running mate to
Mallam Nuhu Ribadu,
presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria
ACN
crash landed at the Bauchi airport today.
Adeola and others
were on their way to Bauchi in continuation of the presidential
campaign.Reports did not indicate any fatality as a result of
the mishap but the cause of the incident remains a puzzle.
Perhaps as a result of this incident, another aircraft conveying
Ribadu and some chieftains of ACN was reportedly
delayed as it hovered for sometime time
before finally landing.
