sharing the stakes with him.
“He (Jesus) preached love, compassion and tolerance. He
exemplified all these virtues while He lived and died as a
sacrifice that all those who believe may have life anew,” Atiku

tongue and tribe as Jesus had demonstrated throughout his
sojourn on earth.
“We should all strive to preserve our humanity for no matter our
differences, the teachings of the great Prophet clearly showed
that before the Almighty we are all one flesh and blood,” he
said.
He advised Nigerians to keep faith as the nation will
collectively overcome whatever adversaries that it is currently
facing.
“I urge you to see in this season of
His death and resurrection the promises that a new day
beckons for our country and its people,” he said.

Nigerians to eschew bitterness, recrimination and endeavour to
forgive each other in the true spirit
of the season of Easter.

praises to the Almighty
God together for keeping us united as one strong and indivisible
country in the face of
adversity”, he saidIn his Easter message released in Benin City,

atmosphere that has attended the National Assembly and
Presidential election by
ensuring that next Tuesday’s Governorship and House of
Assembly elections are
also conducted without any ugly incident.

represents a golden opportunity
for us to prove to the world that we can indeed get it right as
a respected member of
the comity of nations and begin the match to genuinely
reclaim our leadership
position as the giant of Africa”, Oshiomhole said.
In a veiled reference that to the violence in some parts of the
North following the

perseverance of the
Risen Christ and avoid all those things that will negate the
development of the
country.

agenda and prove to the
world that we have arrived to occupy our leadership position”,
