Reports reaching Newsdiaryonline.com indicate that kidnappers have abducted Rev Fr. Justin Ukpong, the Vice Chancellor of Our Veritas  Catholic University in Abia State.

A prominent cleric has reportedly revealed that the the kidnappers ``are threatening us on Father’s phone 08029303064. The police at the highest level has been informed . You might bombard them with calls to let Father go for God’s sake

 The cleric  who is mobilising Nigerians for the release of the abducted vice chancellor is urging everyone to ``please pray for his quick release. ”

But  details of the circumstances surrounding the kidnap of the Vice Chancellor are not available yet.
