The Northern Political Leaders Forum and its partners wish to commiserate with our brother and friend Chief Mathew T. Mbu and his family and to wish him speedy recovery following reports that he has taken ill and is recuperating in a Lagos hospital.

We pray to Almighty God to restore the Chief to his normal, vibrant self and to give him long life so that he may continue to offer selfless service to Nigeria his beloved country. We shall miss him at the National Stakeholders Conference which he was billed to chair.

With this development, the conference will now be chaired by His Excellency, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, GCFR. All other arrangements for the Conference remain unchanged.
