There have been tweets indicating
a crackdown by the
police in Kano as the anti fuel subsidy protest gathered
momentum.Protesters have remained at what has been termed as
Kano’s Freedom Square.But latest tweets some protesters
relocated to a new base.There was also an unconfirmed
claim of at least one killed in this night’s crackdown
There have been tweets that tear gas and
live ammunition were
being used to disperse the protesters.No further details yet.
