Civil society, organised labour and students, Saturday, took to the streets in Lagos to protest the increase in the Lagos State University School, LASU, tuition fees and the planned removal of fuel subsidy in Lagos.

 

The protest organised by the family of late Gani Fawehinmi witnessed three of the late human rights activists children, Ganiyat, Mohammed and Saheed march with other protesters along Ikeja,

President of the West African Bar Association (WBA) Femi Falana, in his speech, called on the federal governemnt to fight corruption in the oil industry.
