President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has sent a message of congratulation to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in the last saturday's  Kogi state election Captain Idris wad over his victory at the polls.

Senator Mark however told Wada in no unmistakable terms to immediately embark on intra and inter party reconciliation in order to bring every body on board.

According to Mark, " your election is a manifestation of the peoples' acceptance of the party and your candidature. It is therefore incumbent on you to bring everybody on board in the new task of piloting the affairs of the state. Citizens of Kogi expect much from you . They need to reap dividend from their investment on democracy. You cannot afford to fail them."

He also told the losers to accept the outcome of the election  as the verdict of the majority of Kogites, reminding them that only " one person will be governor at any point in time. Besides power belongs to God, and He decides who to give at any point in time."

Senator Mark asked the citizens of Kogi to rally round the governor - elect  in the task of moving the state to the next level.
