EFCC Moves Daniel , Akala to Lagos as Goje remains in custody

Trial looms for the Former governors
arrested last week by the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission, EFCC as
moves have been made toward their arraignment
in court. A source
within the anti- graft agency confirmed to
Newsdiaryonline this evening that ex Governors Gbenga
Daniel(Ogun) and Alao Akala(Oyo) “have been moved to Lagos for
arraignment”
Daniel ,Akala and Akwe Doma ( Nasarawa)
were arrested last week by the commission and held in
Abuja for
interrogation. Last weekend
also, the EFCC declared ex Governor Danjuma Goje of Gombe
state wanted.
But Goje who
returned to Nigeria yesterday from his trip overseas,
dramatically surrendered himself to the EFCC very early Monday
morning. A source
this evening told Newsdiaryonline that Goje remains in
the commission's custody .
It could not be confirmed immediately whether
Doma’s trial will hold
in Abuja or Lafia ,Nasarawa state.
