The Director General of the National Orientation Agency ( NOA) Mr. Mike Omeri has implored Nigerians not to despair inspite of the challenges, assuring that the transformation agenda of the present administration will ultimately launch the nation as economically and politically stable  country in no distant time.

The present challenge he opined would soon fade away "because I know there will be light at the end of the tunnel".

Omeri who spoke when he took over from his predecessor in office, Alhaji Idi Farouk in Abuja today urged Nigerians to have faith in the nation pointing out that the challenges at the moment are surmountable.

He said President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has demonstrated the political will and unwavering commitment to lead the nation out of the woods.

The new NOA boss added that the present administration has put enough safety nets to cushion the temporary pain that may come with the deregulation policy saying " we will do the right thing and transform Nigeria."

He therefore tasked the management and staff of NOA to brace up to the challenges  of the new spirit because "we shall set the pace and lead the way".

Omeri praised the outgoing Director -General for his contribution to national development and requested him to make his wealth of experience available when needed.

He canvassed for team work among the staffers of the agency because it is only a team spirit that produces positive  result.

Handing over to his successor, Idi Farouk said the staff of the organisation are committed and truly dedicated to course of nation building. He therefore urged them to continue to show loyalty    to new management .

Farouk later took his successor round the departments of the agency .
