We have relocated our position from the
main passengers’ route in the creek to join
our other barracks to carry out a
retaliatory action on JTF barbaric action.
We did so by bombing our residential
building by ourselves today at 2; 00 pm
which costs us about N3.5 million during
construction early this year. Our main
reason for relocation was due to the fact
that where the shooting occurred yesterday
that lasted for about six hours is a
passengers route and we want to make it a
safe one for market women and other users to
ply. Oil facilities in Niger Delta shall be
destroyed like the way we detonated our own
precious building. This is the beginning of
second phase of an oil war. We will crumble
Nigerian economy.
Our relocation was not borne out of fear of
JTF untrained bloody soldiers. We will
inform JTF our new bases at the soonest. JTF
should select their best snappers squad when
next coming to face NDLF soldiers. If we had
had that opportunity of the JTF with 14
gunboats, we would have climbed the land and
conquer. The attack was unexpected and some
of our best “executioners” were in our
distant bases and the cities. But yet the
shooting that lasted for about six hours
between JTF soldiers in 14 gunboats and our
NDLF 16 soldiers. The result is clear that
Nigerian soldiers cannot fight international
war. That is why the Nigerian government
abandoned our Bakassi oil reserve for
Cameroonians.
We have been informed reliably that JTF in
their usual lazy manner wants to air raid
neighbouring Ijaw communities. For the
record, Ijaw communities have no hand in our
re-declared oil war. Therefore, we urge JTF
to rescind their devilish plot of bombing
and committing genocide as they did to
Gbaramatu kingdom. If they are trained
soldiers, let us do it in the ground or in
their choiced battlefield either in the
forest or the sea. If JTF does not rescind
her bombing plot and humiliate our harass
any innocent civilian in Ijaw communities,
we will carry out a reprisal action by
bombing military primary school compounds,
Sunday churches and market squares in the
urban city. They should know that we are not
criminals or terrorists, but freedom
fighters and our goal is to set the Niger
Delta free from internal colonialism. It is
JTF that are criminals and terrorists.
But we are agitating for our God given oil
which people from other lands have been
stealing over 50 years. We are not fighting
our brother President Goodluck Jonathan and
his2011 ambition. We will come out and vote
for him during 2011 general electilon. But
what we are saying is that the government of
Nigeria has deceived us after we had
submitted our arms to accept presidential
amnesty. Since we surrendered arms, the
government refused to dialogue with us after
bribing some misguided youths who called
themselves fighters. We must address the
fundamental issues of underdevelopment and
environmental degradation caused by
activities multinational oil exploration and
exploitation. Our friend, late President
Aljahi Musa Yar’dua had a good intention for
the amnesty. But after his death the same
Niger Delta leaders who starch some of the
regions money abroad and increased the
poverty of the region have hijacked the post
amnesty again for their selfish interest.
Our oil war declaration remains standing and
we urge once again, foreign diplomatic
missions to advise their nationals to vacate
the Niger Delta region for their own
interest as we cannot guarantee their
safety.
Thank you and Godbless.
Signed
Capt. Mark Anthony Spokesman NDLF
