The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Azuibuike Ihejirika lied when he assured Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) GGD Engr. Austin Oniwon   in Abuja that the army will protect pipelines with special dedicated soldiers to curb vandals across Niger Delta.

NDLF wants to ask the Chief of Army Staff that over since in Niger Delta the army is yet to send special dedicated soldiers to protect oil facilities in Nigeria. We urged Mr. President to sack the Chief of Army staff for his failure to protect the nation’s oil facilities to save the nation’s economy as we had earlier promised to cripple the nation’s economy.

Quoting NNPC GGD’s words “The rate of the crude pipeline vandalisation from Bonny to Port Harcourt refinery and the escravos to Warri and Kaduna refinery is alarming and I wish to request the Army to concentrate on these pipelines as they are critical to our operations”

The NNPC GGD has failed in his bid to save the nation’s pipelines by requesting for more troops in Niger Delta, instead of persuading federal government to do the right thing at the right time by convening the post-amnesty conference to address grey areas of the post-amnesty programme. The fact that President Goodluck Jonathan under estimated NDLF after bribing other top ex-militant leaders with millions of nairas and oil blocs, thinking that that would stop further violent agitation in Niger Delta for the well being of the Niger Delta region.

Let the Army Chief of Staff inquire very well from some of ex-militant leaders, especially General Boyloaf about the  NDLF leader and his soldiers on  some of the 2008 and 2009 stunning operations  under former General Boyloaf  when he was in the creeks, particular note is the earth quaking SPDC deep sea Bonga Field attack.

NDLF is glad and delighted when the NNPC GGD Engr. Austin Oniwon announced the breaking news that the three refineries in the nation have been shut down temporarily due to vandals and resurgence of militancy. We want to inform President Goodluck Jonathan that the army cannot protect the nation’s oil facilities and economy .We urge Mr. President once again and wrong advices of other ex-militant leaders who have received bribe by ignoring them and the Joint Task Force (JTF) and immediately convene the post-amnesty conference after withdraw soldiers in sacked Ayakoromor and environs to address the long years of criminal neglect, injustice and marginalization done to the oil fundamental problems of oil bearing communities in Niger Delta.

NDLF warns members of Nigerian welders and fitters never to risk their lives to embark on any mission to the turbulent Niger Delta for any repair works of damaged oil facilities as NDLF cannot guarrantee the protection and safety of their lives. NDLF has earlier vowed to crumble the nation’s economy and what NDLF soldiers have done is a tip of the ice berg as the said promised massive bombing is yet to be carried. No soldier can stop NDLF from executing its threat of massive bombing as we have devised both hi-tech and manual bombings of pipelines. Does the Army Chief of staff is aware that NDLF bombs are hanging on many pipelines and other oil facilities across Niger Delta region, ready for detonation at any time we decide?

Signed
