Is A Boko Haram to Nigerians’.. one dies from injury

As national strike and protest declared by organized labour and
Civil Society groups continues, a cross section of activists in
Osun State have unanimously categorized President
Goodluck Jonathan
as Boko Haram to the people of the country with his insistence
on removal of fuel subsidy.
However, it was reliably
gathered that one person Mojeed Raheem (Apanpa)
also died at the early
hour of Tuesday as a result of injury sustained on Monday from
one Lawrence (aka D-Law) who was alleged to be one of the thugs
used by a former while
in office for seven and half years.The police have commenced the
investigation immediately to unravel the circumstances leading
to the death of Mojeed.
We also gathered that the matter was reported to the state
Commissioner of police by an Osogbo based human right activist,
Comrade Amitolu Shittu and the Police boss promised to find the
root of the matter.
The activists who disclosed this in Osogbo, the state capital
while addressing the
mammoth crowd of protesters at popular Olaiya Junction,
maintained that Nigerian masses have the right to show their
grievances through the peaceful demonstration.
The rally which was organized by Nigeria Labour
Congress(NLC),Trade Union Congress(TUC),OCCUPY NIGERIA,Afenifere
Renewal Group(ARG),Democratic Socialist Movement(DSM),Justice
Now Foundation(JNF),Committee for Defence of Human Right(CDHR),
and Peoples Welfare League(PWL).
Speaking further, the South West Zonal coordinator of OCCUPY
NIGERIA, Comrade Amitolu Shittu called for the convocation of
Sovereign National Conference in which all the problems
militating against the progress and growth of the country would
be solved, calling for the immediate scrapping of PPRA.
“Corruption has been the cankerworm that eaten deep in the
fabric of the Nation’s system. I want to say here categorically
that Nigerian masses have right to determine their destiny”, he
added.
Barrister Alfred Adegoke, the state coordinator of DSM, called
for immediate arrest and prosecution of President Goodluck
Jonathan for massive corruption and mismanagement of Nigeria
economy and the killing of protesters against the removal of
fuel subsidy that has started since last week by the agent of
federal government, describing the removal of fuel subsidy as
heinous and criminal against the people of the country.
Shittu who spoke further on incident explained that they have
interviewed and recorded the conversation of the deceased
visually on Monday before he later died on Tuesday, noting that
the late Mojeed had explained how the matter went to them
