Reports from Port Harcourt indicate there is confusion this night in the city over the alleged killing of Soboma George, one of the ex- militants in Nigeria's Niger Delta.Unconfirmed report was alleged that two men walked up to soboma and shot him.This allegedly sparked off  shooting between rival cult members.

One of the eye witnesses who spoke with newsdiaryonline said shooting  has been going on now by those alleged to be Soboma Boys

``I called the Police spokesman and she said Soboma may have been killed.She also advised me to stay where I am if Iam sure of my safety because the Police were making efforts to contain the situation’’ a journalist  said

There were questions over the alleged  killing of soboma  which coincided unfortunately with the visit of the First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan to Okrika today .Okrika is known to be the base of Ateke Tom another ex-militant leader.``I find this incident today curious and I hope it is not meant to embarrass the first lady`` an observer said

Niger Delta militants had laid down their arms in line with late president Umaru Musa YarAdua’s amnesty programme.And the post amnesty programme has been making some progress though there have been complaints in some circles that the post  programe is slow.

The alleged killing of Soboma, if true may complicate issues.But Soboma has been like a cat with nine lives.There had been reports of his death in the recent past only for such to prove untrue
