By Emeka Okoh                               Newsdiaryonline   Mon  Aug 30 2010

The National Coordinator of  IBB Victory for 2011, AbdulYekeem Ibn Umar says former president Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida is not disturbed about the Peoples Democratic Party’s  PDP presidential primaries which will take place soon as his candidate will emerge victorious.

Speaking with reporters at the Murtala Mohammed Airport II, Umar said former president Babangida will emerge as the president of this country, if the election is conducted in a free and fair atmosphere devoid of electoral malpractices, due to his track records.

According to Umar,Babangida has proven to be the man to beat in the 2011 election following s his previous achievements, especially in given women the chance to contribute their quota to the national development  while he was military  president.  “IBB made Nigerian women important in the world, before IBB where were our women? They know that when he comes back they will have better chances again because they will get more slots”.

He said the aspirant was ready to raise the level of women participation to a greater height in his next dispensation and urged them to support the IBB cause as he did in the past. “IBB deals with  people as human beings and not as northerners or as a moslem , such  a person with this character will lead Nigeria to the promised land”

Umar maintained that for now IBB has the best office in the South West while the youth wing has already gained accesses in ten states.

The IBB for Victory 2011 lamented that the losers of third term were misleading Goodluck Jonathan for 2011 and declared that they will still fail.

Umar said INEC,the electoral umpire should ensure that the election is conducted in line with the principle of one man one vote for credibility.

He announced that the London and Dubai wings of the IBB campaign will be launched immediately after the Ramadan  .
