Nigerians to Vote President Goodluck Jonathan Massively
press statement
Sun April 10,2011

Nigerians yawn for quality leadership. Leadership is neither a
tea party adventure nor a jamboree. It entails making
sacrifices, showing the way forward and having the
shock-absorbing ability to tolerate and accommodate the human
excess of the led. Leadership also involves inculcating
exemplary conducts and not just mere precepts in others because
a leader is most often viewed as the prism through which a
state, community or organization is x-rayed. Dr. Goodluck
Jonathan has gotten the wherewithal to steer this country to the
right direction. He has good judgment, good temperament,
educational background and experience.
Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen, the world is watching us. We
cannot afford to sing different tunes now. We should shun those
things that tend to divide us and embrace the things that unite
us--Goodluck. For anybody to lead or aspire to lead, he or she
must first be a good follower. Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has
creditably demonstrated these qualities. Nigeria is
enormously endowed and blessed by God and we ought to use these
qualities to our advantage. Let us always place collective
interest first and above personal consideration. This is the key
to a sustainable, progressive, prosperous and united
Nigeria. Let us always remember
that united we stand and divided we fall. Most merciful and
compassionate Almighty God, we thank you for the gift of this
great nation,
Nigeria,
especially for her citizens – the diverse tribes and tongues and
the ever-teeming population; for various precious minerals and
fertile land. Eternal Father, may your Holy Name continue to be
praised, glorified and adored forever in this land. We earnestly
ask you to intervene more prominently in the attitude and lives
of our people. Show us the way to your Truth by making our lives
truthful, honest and sincere. Grant us an enduring peace so as
to enhance prosperity and progress in our individual families
and our Country at large.
Therefore, we ask all Nigerians to massively vote for Goodluck
Jonathan on April 16, 2011 for
Nigeria
to continue to be relevant in the global scheme of things. It is
only Goodluck that can bring good luck to
Nigeria. He is the leader
Nigeria
needs NOW.
