Turn out improves in major cities
Voters turned out massively in some parts of the country
like Kano and Kaduna.But some voter apathy reported in some
parts of Lagos.Voting has commenced across the country.
Election Day in Nigeria: Early turn out low
Reports from across the country indicate that early turnout has
been low.Perhaps there is apathy or people are just watching to
see what happens before trooping out.Security
is also high in order to ensure that no
violence is record.There were however reports of some shooting
in Borno state.This was on the heels of the bomb
blast in Suleja yesterday and the explosion in Kaduna on
Thursday.
Election
materials and electoral officers are reported to have turn up in
record time so far.
Accreditation has begun
in earnest in most parts of the country.President Goodluck
Jonathan who could not vote last week has been accredited this
morning in his Bayelsa village.
