Guber polls update:Yuguda wins Bauchi,INEC to hold supplementary polls for Imo

Incumbent Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi state has been declared the winner of the gubernatorial elections held in the state on Thursday April 28,2011.The elections in Bauchi and Kaduna were held same day because of security challenges following the post election violence after the presidential polls.Yuguda's PDP defeated the CPC which had been seen as the strongest challenger.

Meanwhile ,INEC has resolved that supplementary elections will hold in four  local government areas(namely Ngor-Okpala,Mbaitolu,Oguta and Egbema) , and Orji ward  of Imo state on May 6,2011.  Results of the April 26, guber polls in the state were inconclusive with Governor Ikedi Ohakim,PDP and Rochas Okorocha of APGA running neck and neck.

Protesters from both sides have been calling on  INEC to declare their  respective flagbear as  the winner .
